Orange County, CA lottery winner scoops $1.3 million
The first time the state of California enters the massive country wide Powerball lottery a lucky winner scoops $1.3 million in Orange County.
The lucky ticket was picked up at 17 Food Store, 6522 Stanton Avenue and matches 5 balls from the draw that took place on 13th April – just one matching ball away from taking down the $70 million jackpot that was on offer.
The winning numbers were 10 – 12 – 31 – 56 – 57 and Powerball 33.
Elsewhere winning tickets were found in Minnesota and New York, both taking home over $1 million.
